Sonnet With Thirteen Lines Because I Don’t Know If It’s Appropriate To Tell You That I Miss You

She shines down on my face
And I am drowned in red light

My arms are burning

I don’t look at the night sky and wonder why I’m here
I only imagine you looking too.
The moon is just a reminder that your loved ones aren’t looking
Still I never turn away.

You are me and I am the goose among the chickens
You are me and I am the goose that bit me
You are me and I am the star that landed on my stomach
You are me and I am the star that soldered itself to my skin

You are me and I went missing
You are me and I miss me
